i have a server that is running apache and i have few eCommerce websites.
It happened that one of the sites had issues and it required updates so it definitely works bad, no question about that. the owner works on it to fix it as soon fast as he can, but what gets me crazy is the fact that while his site gets stuck very often the other clients get affected.
as a NOTE: everything started going bad since last few updates of enhance panel!
i was under the impression that each account is isolated and one site's failure would not affect everyone else. but it seems i was wrong, as all other clients get their websites frozen. (this is not what i was ready for when i was thinking each client is isolated.)
i have tested by suspending the problem website, and found out that the server works well otherwise. so the true Isolation seems to not be that true after all..
I have to admit that i am really questioning the the isolation thing 🙂 and the way i considered it should be and what it really is 🙂
If i am doing something wrong please by all means some advice is welcome 🙂
