Dear Enhance Team,
I would like to formally request native support for MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases within the Enhance Control Panel.
šÆ Why This Is Important
Currently, Enhance provides excellent support for MySQL/MariaDB, which works well for many traditional applications. However, modern application stacks are increasingly dependent on:
- PostgreSQL for advanced relational database features
- MongoDB for NoSQL, document-based architectures
- Microservices & container-based deployments
- SaaS, API-driven, and real-time applications
As Enhance already supports cluster-based infrastructure, adding MongoDB and PostgreSQL would significantly increase its competitiveness and flexibility.
š Key Benefits
- Modern Application Compatibility
- Frameworks like Laravel (with PostgreSQL), Django, Node.js, NestJS, etc., widely use PostgreSQL.
- MERN / MEAN stack applications require MongoDB.
- Stronger SaaS & Cloud Positioning
- Many SaaS platforms rely on PostgreSQL for scalability and performance.
- MongoDB is essential for scalable document-based systems.
- Better Competitive Position
Competing hosting panels increasingly support multiple database engines.
Adding these would make Enhance more attractive for developers and agencies.
Cluster Synergy
Since Enhance already supports clustering, database clustering/replication for PostgreSQL and MongoDB would align perfectly with its architecture.
š Suggested Implementation (Optional Ideas)
- Native database service installation & management
- GUI-based database/user creation
- Backup & restore integration
- Optional cluster/replication management
- Resource limits per subscription
Enhance has strong potential to become a fully modern cloud hosting control panel. Adding MongoDB and PostgreSQL would make the ecosystem significantly more powerful and future-ready.
Thank you for considering this request.
