How do you restore a backup when a server goes down?

Trying to move a site from a server that's down to a new but don't see the option, Unable to restore if the server the website is on is down.

Mark the server that is down as decommissioned, then you should be able to do what you're trying to do.

PolicePing backups wont restore email accounts but only email accounts data, and i believe dns entries are still not backed up and i believe other parts also , so be aware backups aren;t full backups so make sure to also backup the control panel and have another method of taking full backups
