Enhance Control Hub - Unofficial

Enhance Control Hub: an administration panel to simplify the management of Enhance clusters based on the Enhance API, with a lightweight agent (ech-agent) on the cluster nodes for functions not exposed by the API (firewall, fail2ban/cpFence, mail queue, etc.).

The goal is to gather your feedback and create a simple and secure tool for the community.

What it already does:

Dashboard with cluster status and live metrics.
Websites: domains, DNS records (DNSSEC, document root), cron jobs.
Email: mailboxes, rules, queue, spam quarantine, and deliverability (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
Security: overview with a real-time graph of blocked requests, firewall, cpFence/fail2ban, and blacklist/whitelist of IPs and countries (with descriptions and by node).
Alerts, audit log, multilingual (ES/EN).

It looks really cool. I like the design. I'm gonna be that guy though, I kinda wish this was all built into Enhance, it's just easier to manage 1 admin panel instead of 2 (or 3 if you are using cPFence). I'd vote for you to get a spot on the Enhance Dev Team.

Anyway don't let that detract you, it's a cool project and I look forward to seeing how it develops. So the things I'd like to see:

DNS

Ability to do DNS templating. I don't need the majority of DNS records that Enhance auto-adds on website creation, so I'd like to be able to just create my own template of the records I need at website creation.
If the above isn't possible, then at least the ability to bulk delete DNS records via the GUI instead of having to do it one by one (like have little check boxes next to each DNS record where we could multi-select and then Delete All).
If using Cloudflare, the ability to just toggle/click the Orange Cloud on/off on the DNS page instead of having to click Edit >> Enable Proxy >> Save for each record I want to enable Cloudflare on.

Speaking of Cloudflare, I'd like to see more integration. For example:

Ability to clear cache from the panel.
Ability to put into development mode from the panel.
Ability to enable/disable various security and performance features like Bot Fight Mode, Speed Optimizations, AI Crawler Control, create Turnstile widgets, DDoS Protection, etc.
Maybe some log/analytics viewing.

Logs

Persistent access logs for all web server types with the ability to select the log rotation frequency.

The above is actually my wish list for Enhance enhancements, but if I could do it in your Control Hub, then that would be great.

For me it needs to be 100% mobile friendly. Tried to look at the demo and it was unusable so that has turned me away straight away regardless of how “sexy” it may look.

Looks good. Some things straight off the top of my head:

Managing customer websites as admin rather than impersonated with all restrictions given to the client
Managing customer/website 'overrides' within the website area as admin rather than a separate overrides interface
Customer package subscription summary page, one look to see who is close to the limits on each restricted parameter
Backups overview for admin
Global 'force https' and 'enable dkim' defaults

And many others, but let's see how the first release turns out first. The effort for this is already appreciated, could be a great alternative to the default Enhance interface.

Are you planning to have this as a commercial alternative, or as opensource addon?

We'll take your feedback into account; that's exactly what we want to do. Regarding replacing the Enhance panel, that's not the main idea. We love Enhance; what we want is a parallel tool that allows us to manage clusters from a more technical perspective, like a server administrator.

Our idea is to make the project open source, self-updating, and include a donations section so that those who wish to can contribute to its development. I'd like it to be a tool that everyone can use, contribute to, and audit.

Steamon The URL is my Cloudflare development environment. You can try it now or wait a bit until I upload it to Git to autodeploy it to a location other than your local server.

I would love to get involved!

Though unfortunately, I am knee-deep in my own hosting project atm, and have no time whatsoever beyond that of taking breaks and perusing the internet

That said, and as soon as the dust settles, I would love to get involved somehow - and yes, I would have many ideas as this is exactly the type of thing that would benefit my own initiative.

Whatever the case, I'll keep an eye and follow whatever I can in the meantime

Nick No, this development is intended for server administrators who use Enhance. It has nothing to do with the main project. Enhance is fine as is.

I understand, but I would still prefer this style over the standard. Not that its something wrong with it, I actually prefer it over any other panel out there.
