i wouldn't consider 24 hours a deep dive, that's barely even a glance...
i tested for months to see what sort of issues i'd run into, how easy / trouble free updates were, getting used to the ui, feature list, etc... seeing how helpful the support forums were over time.. before i even considered migrating the first live site to a production enhance system.
yes, there's some things that need to be added, some things that aren't necessary, but would be nice to have..
it is improving, would be nice if new features/functionality would be added faster, but you never get everything you want in one system, and at least it's not that hideous, win3.1 looking throwback that is cpanel, slow, bloated, and 99% of features are never used...
and clients can't fix reverse dns.. they rarely even know of SPF or DKIM, and wouldn't have a clue if it was correct or not..
besides, how is the panel supposed to know if they're also sending out newsletters through eg mailchimp, to add it to SPF? i've asked them directly when fixing their dns records for them and creating their first ever SPF record and they've said they're not sending out mail anywhere else, only to complain days later that mails from mailchimp, mailgun, brevo etc aren't working...
