I would just like to see some features already on the roadmap actually get development time.
Some of those existing roadmap items I'd like to see implemented are:
- New packages for Nginx and Apache to enable additional modules.
- Enable passthrough of “real” user IP from known Cloudflare IPs across all web server kinds.
- File manager “trash can” functionality.
- Website performance analysis.
- Ability to password protect websites.
- Graphing of CPU, Memory and IO usage per website. Display sites with highest usage on dashboard.
- Improved PHP logs.
- Wildcard subdomains.
- Customisations made in OpenLiteSpeed admin panel will persist when updates are made to the website/vhost through the Enhance panel. This mirrors the existing functionality for commercial Litespeed.
- Import existing zones from Cloudflare before sync.
- Ability to convert an addon domain to a website.
- Additional audit logging for administrative actions.
Some enhancements I'd like to see that aren't on the roadmap are:
- DNS templating (so I can set what DNS records get added for all new website creation)
- Better Cloudflare integration (ability to clear CF cache from the panel, switch on/off DDoS protection and Bot Protection, etc.)
- Ability to set our own logging preferences (for example getting more than 5 minutes of access logs before they are wiped.)
The existing Roadmap items alone would really give Enhance a lot more polish and make it easier and more enjoyable to work with. The items I listed not on the Roadmap would also be great QoL improvements.
Instead, we get OpenClaw, which has obviously caused a lot of uproar in the Community because nobody really asked for it except maybe one or two of the larger project contributors...
