Sync DNS with cPanel DNS cluster

We are using cPanel with cPanel DNS cluster (DNS Only and DNS sync). Obviously we would love to offer Enhance more, but we still would love to have single system/servers for DNS.

What do you think about a feature, that would allow us to sync DNS records to cPanel DNS cluster? Probably through API calls. This sort of sync would let us manage DNS much easier and seamlessly. Or do you see more problems, than benefits?

Does the new "3rd party DNS hooks added to ‘Integrations’" introduced in 12.25.0 not allow you to do this?

Technically we could use that, but in fact would love these to be both way synced. or some sort of mechanism to sync records back, if those are edited on cPanel dns servers. In a perfect world it would be amazing to configure Enhance to use DNS only servers as they main DNS target. But that is probably way too unrealistic..

It's not unrealistic and it would definitely help customers doing a gradual migration from a large cPanel cluster.

As I understand it, cPanel will reject creation of a zone if any server in the cluster already holds that zone. Would you like the same behaviour in Enhance?

This most probably could cause a migration issue.

Migration could override that check and update the existing zone which is also what I think cPanel does.

Truth is that would help a lot migrating customers from one system to the other.

Sorry, I missed your reply @Adam.
You are right, cPanel will reject zone creation, if it exists inside cluster. But my initial thought was not just about migration.. Wish we could migrate away from cPanel.. but we can't - too many customers want to keep it. What we want - is to use have Enhance use cPanel DNS cluster, so we could use both control panels and have them use single DNS setup/servers.
Right now for our "DNS ONLY" customers - we use one cPanel account and park all domains there.
I imagine, that for Enhance-hosted domains, we could dedicate one cPanel account - set servername, username, API token - and let Enhance do all zone management.. if you want, I can describe it in more details.

Our internal system manages this as like doesn’t matter what hosting panel we use we got a dns server that communicates with any other dns servers from plesk, cPanel, enhance etc if we like to
