Cloudflare DNS

Hi All,

I already use Cloudflare which I manually manage via the Cloudflare GUI but I want to use Cloudflare managed by Enhance over the API.

Lets say example.com has existing MX records for MS Outlook, TXT verification entries, and A records and CNAMES pointing to existing hosting.

What happens if I create a hosting account via Enhanced for this domain? Will it keep these records or change them? I fear disruption before I'm ready to switch DNS over.

Adding a Cloudflare key under "integrations" does nothing by itself, you select on a per-domain basis whether you want to sync the zone with Cloudflare.

Once you connect the domain to Cloudflare from the "domains" tab of the website, Enhance will overwrite the Cloudflare zone with the zone from Enhance. Therefore you should add any custom records to Enhance before connecting.
