Migration from Enhance to Cpanel

Hello, I can't find any tutorial on how to migrate an account from Enhance to Cpanel, especially regarding email.

Assuming this is your own cluster and you have the master organisation login details there are 3 options:

Generate a full account backup in cPanel then go to websites -> import website in Enhance and upload it. End users can also do this.
Generate a full account backup and scp it to /var/orchd/importer/cpanel/backup_file_name.tar.gz. Go to websites -> import website and choose the SCP method, import directly from the file system.
If you have root access to the cPanel server, use the log in and fetch method (again under websites -> import website). This method fetches the data directly from your cPanel server.

In all cases Enhance will copy the mailboxes and all email data. If the mailboxes are in dbox or mbox format on the cPanel side you should convert to Maildir format first.

Adam, I think the question was the other way around, Enhance to Cpanel.

@infinitum, as far as I know, there are no tutorials. For emails I would suggest you use a tool called IMAP sync that will allow you to migrate your emails.

Have you already tried importing the tar.gz file generated by an Enhance backup into Cpanel ?

elieaad Hi, there are two files generated by Enhance for backups (website and email files), im just going to extract and transfer both via FTP following the Cpanel structure, thanks.

Sorry I completely misread the question, I don't think anyone has ever asked that before!

If you're using Maildir on the cPanel side then the files from the downloadable email backup from Enhance will be compatible, you will just need to create the mailboxes manually first. imapsync is a good alternative.
