cPanel/WHM has a tool called “Convert Addon Domain to Account”, which allows an addon domain to be moved into its own account and assigned a hosting package, along with its website files, selected databases and email accounts.
It would be great to have similar functionality in Enhance, allowing us to select the domain’s document root, databases and email accounts, then convert it into a standalone website under its own hosting package.
At the moment, we need to do this in cPanel before migrating to Enhance. However, some customers will want to make this change after migration.
This would also make it easier for hosting providers to upsell separate website plans when customers outgrow addon domains, benefiting both Enhance and the providers using it.
