Hi team,
While the pre-configured role-based images in Enhance are great for traditional websites, modern application developers frequently package their runtimes using custom Dockerfiles.
Feature Details:
- Dockerfile Support: Allow a site/application inside Enhance to build directly from a repo containing a Dockerfile or compose file.
- Port Mapping & Exposure: Automatically expose the designated application port to the existing reverse proxy layer (LiteSpeed/Nginx) with automatic SSL provisioning.
- Resource Sandboxing: Continue leveraging Enhance's existing cgroups and resource limits (CPU/RAM/IO) around these custom containers.
Why this matters:
It eliminates runtime version constraints (Node, Python, Go, Rust, or specific OS libraries) and turns Enhance into a modern alternative to self-hosted PaaS solutions like Coolify, without sacrificing Enhance's multi-server architecture.
