It took me 3 days to find out how to connect to QUIC.cloud CDN in this architecture:
Enhance - Cloudflare DNS - Quic.cloud CDN
I'm sharing the trick with you and asking enhance Team to help resolve this pb.
1/ After you've successfully moved the site of a client and pointed his DNS records in CF to the IP mentioned on his enhanced customer dashboard, it's all good. The At Glance status shows : domain connected.
2/ Then you head over to your WP admin >> LSCP >> request a new domain key (this will connect to Quic.cloud). After the key is issued you head over to Quic.cloud panel and make sure the IP is correct (not the old IP in case you're migrating).
3/ Now we can connect to QUIC.cloud CDN. In CF we need to delete the A records pointing root domain to enhance server IP and create two CNAME records (flattening records) pointing to QUIC.cloud CDN.
Here comes the issue: the website is disconnected because the domain in CF does not point to enhance server IP anymore but to Quic.cloud.
On enhance dashboard the status now says: "domain disconnected" and the site is down.
So what did I miss? I searched for hours and hours...
There was an option in LSCP (litespeed cache plugin) where I should have entered my new server IP.
I never had to do that before with other CPs. I could leave it blank but it seems I can't with enhance.
Here's a screenshot of the solution/step I missed after requesting a domain key.
So to recap: if you want to connect enhance / CF DNS / Quic.cloud together you must not only request a new domain key to quic.cloud before changing your DNS in CF but you must also enter the server IP in LSPCP. If you miss this last step DNS/CDN lookups fail.
Now my website runs on Quic.Cloud CDN using CF DNS and enhance.
But here comes the issue with enhance client dashboard:
Customers see on their dashboard that Domain is not connected when in fact it is. It also shows connected from time to time.
Can we solve this and have enhance CP understanding we are using a third party CDN other than CF and not show domain disconnected when it is in fact working.
Thank you for reading me all the way.
