It'd be neat to see a Docker implementation - the fact is, regular web hosting is becoming archaic. In an already extremely saturated market, it's hard to sell "just" hosting. This is why the Redis update is (in my opinion) a huge leap for Enhance. Even cPanel doesn't offer that at the moment. Plesk's docker implementation is garbage. Enhance could use this to their benefit.
Offering this + NodeJs would allow people to offer a more comprehensive hosting solution for more modern CMS tech like Ghost, Strapi, etc.
An example stack:
- React/Angular/SPA frontend running on the web server
- Modern CMS running in Docker (i.e. Strapi)
- Database for the CMS
- Cloudflare for CDN/WAF/etc
This type of stack is becoming more popular every day - so being able to offer a hosting solution for it puts Enhance ahead of cPanel/Plesk/DirectAdmin/etc
+1 from me
