OSL/NGINX Causes Homepage To "download".

Hello all,
I just installed a server for testing around with Enhance, and all has been good until I got to testing the OLS and NGINX webservers. When I switch to either of those, the homepage on my site won't load - instead a file downloads (the file is literally named "download", no file type extension and no data inside of it).

When I switch back to Apache, no problem.

I did a few things to test on my own, disabling opcode cache and redis cache, clear the htaccess file, resave permalinks (the rest of the site loads fine, just the homepage does this bug).

Anyone have an idea why? I searched the forums here and I seem to be the only one with the problem @_@

If you are using any caching plugin, please disable it. Happens mostly with WP Rocket.

I've never seen this before. What's even more unusual is that Nginx and OLS are completely separate web servers which use different PHP SAPIs.

Did you clear your browser cache during testing?

If you have a PC/Mac with curl installed, can you run:

curl -vvv https://domain.com

And post the output here or send in a support ticket?

@prasad0889 blarggggh! It was WP Rocket! Dangit... They have a "helper plugin" to fix this issue, but I'll probably jsut use a different caching plugin. Thanks for the tip 🙂
