Free license for 1 domain and 1 server. This would help spread the panel more widely and provide the opportunity to test it without the obligation to purchase. It seems to me that enhance would not lose much, but would gain more.
Enhance used to provide a trial license for, I think it was 30 days. They decided to pull this license for some reason
But, for $5 you ain't losing much if it's something you decide you don't want to proceed with.
-1.
Shouldn't waste support time on anyone not even willing to spend the minimal $5 to test it out. Save the support time for serious users.
There is some truth in it. however, there should even be a trial period of 14 days or something like that.
I like the idea of restricting it to 1vcpu/1gb ram/20gb low spec for free , community support only perhaps.

Nope. They have a demo version you can test. And if you decide its decent enough to try it yourself. Just pay 5,- one time and test.
I've been moving from panel to panel the last years. Aiming to keep it as free as possible. Freeware control panels awesome but now I decided to stick with enhance since I got such a great feeling about the control panel. Besides their support is superb!
Machiel92 demo's are terrible - only good thing about them is to see how the panel looks. For example - I installed two other panels, one of which turns out not to support almalinux 9 , which was not documented anywhere. Ability to actually install and configure for free before commiting to any expense is great, although for us £5 was a no brainer!
I believe that paying $5 a month for such good software is worth it. The limit of websites is 33, so that's a lot. This will definitely facilitate the development of Enhance.
AdamM Yes, But I'm talking more about the trial license.
The demo does not provide full testing capabilities, it has limitations. $5 is small, but if someone tests several panels and wants to choose something, a free license, e.g. 14 days, should be available.
I am not sure now but when I started using enhance, I was given a 60 day trial. While a 60 day trial is certainly a long time, a standard 15 or 30 day trial would be nice. A free version is not something that I would support. It costs a ton of money to develop and support so a free version will only derail and demotivate the company to keep building!
