Addon domain lets encrypt

Hello Guys,

Are you able to setup lets encrypt certs on addon domains sub.domain.com and external dns ?

Yes, it works without any issues. I created a add-on domain in Enhance (my.domain.com) and use Cloudflare for DNS, as long as the subdomain is resolvable and accessible on your Enhance server then a Lets Encrypt cert will work.

looks like if you dont have DNS role installed it wont work. i will need to recheck to make sure.

The DNS needs to point to your server but Enhance doesn't care whether it's externally provided or handled by your cluster.

Hello guys,

I having some issues with invalid (self signed) certificate for mail.domain.com.
Let's encrypt is working just fine with domain.com and all other sub.domain.com .

It doesn't happen with all accounts, though.
I checked DNS entries, end everything looks good to me.

Do any of you guys are getting this issue?

edit: Just to clarify, this is happening with mail.customerdomain.com , but now with all customer accounts .

edit2: Mail accounts are in a different server, from the application server.

If you are using cloudflare, you will need to add "A" records for your sub-domains in cloudflare DNS zone.

I'm not using cloudflare.

I beginning to think this issue is related with ipv6.
The domains that are having problems are the ones that have AAA entries on their zones.
If I remove then and let them have only ipv4 entries, after a while the problem seems to be solved.

Can anyone of the enhance team confirm this?

Guys,

I was being dumb... I had wrong IPv6 entries.
Adam pointed me to the right direction.

Everything is perfect now. 🙂
