Well there is a wordpres installer (I am considering this as something like a plugin) and it can also manage wordpress based sites. If you directly compare that installer to Softaculous for example, Softaculous has some features that automatically can add basic caching, basic security and other stuff to .htaccess file. I believe these can be added relatively easy since those options only adds some lines of code to .htaccess file.
Adding such options would secure wordpress installations and probably speed things up and from client perspective will be much easier to toggle on/off features they want. Clients usually don't have knowledge about .htaccess and its options.
