Server sizing

I'd like to get responses from as many people as possible about their real world experience with enhance and server sizing requirements for WordPress.

Average for WordPress on non containerized setups:
5-8 WordPress sites per GB memory
20-30 WordPress websites on 2cpu4gb VPS
2 maybe 3 low traffic woocommerce on 2cpu4gb

What is everyone seeing on enhance and I'm really curious on the success or failures people have had with smaller nodes running just the web server and database server roles.

Oldschool I'm running a 3cpu+4gb VM on Hetzner and running ₂₅ to 30 low traffic WP sites (app+mysql roles), no problem whatsoever. I have around 1.2Gb free ram.

mendozal curious if you see CPU maxing out or if it's pretty light? Thanks for the response, it's been hard trying to find out real world numbers

Please take into consideration that these are low traffic sites, no WooCommerce.

I have a similar setup and amount of websites to mendozal and my CPU graph looks the same.

Most traffic is cached though.

jusxon you're right. I forgot to mention I'm running OLS and I have the LS cache plugin installed on all the WP sites.

Curious on if you guys see the DNS role slow down a server or use considerable memory if added with the web server and database?

I'm getting about -20% performance reduction versus my servers on Cloudlinux/Apache/cPanel. I know exactly why too, it's because in my old/standard setup I can make use of LSAPI which is far superior to PHP-FPM. The efficiency of LS PHP allows for 20% higher server density without affecting server load. It's even better in that it doesn't need any configuration, it does it automatically... Really wish we had it as an option, it makes such a big difference for us Apache users.
