V1 Activity Log Is Awesome

I had no idea one of my websites had never successfully run a backup until seeing it pop up in the new Log area. I investigated error logs and found there was one folder in their themes section (wordpress site) that was given permissions of "000", and that all by itself was enough to totally fubar the account's backups lol...

I can't wait to see V2/V3 of the Log tool, I'm sure it will come in real handy for helping more easily identify issues, help us maintain more stable servers 😃

twest Is the current version supposed to send email notifications when there is a new log entry especially if its an error? Don't see any documentation for it yet.

twest Glad to hear this feature has been of use. Sit tight, there are many more useful logs to come - it's an ongoing feature and there will be more logged items with each release 🙂

JohnB I'm not sure, I've disabled email services generated from Enhance at the moment lol.

I think an advanced notifications system would be a sweet feature though, something where Enhance can email/send a push notif based on certain events like load or memory or storage hits limits, or user accounts go over limits, or other critical errors.

JohnB We're working on email notifications at the moment. Slack notifications will be with you in 10.3 core.

Enhance should just use https://github.com/caronc/apprise/wiki and all notification options are taken care of

It's a good suggestion and it looks like an excellent project but our goal is to reduce the resource requirements of Enhance with every iteration and adding a 3rd party dependency isn't really compatible with that.

I get it.. but you will be spending a lot of time remaking the wheel. There is a never ending request steam for notification channels
