It seems I have moved a few mountains above 🙂 Do not get ganged against me 🙂 Joke 🙂
My point cPanel - DirectAdmin
cPanel offered "access" to the settings the Behind the Hood software was used (it was a win for Cpanel)
Direct admin was offering Restart buttons and path to the config file (a lot of CLI)
This is why even after cPanel increased prices so many times, Direct admin still does not gain market share as it could because of the "edit my file type of mentality"
No disrespect to anyone or any product, instead be real and think for yourself why is that,
I am using Enhance only at the moment, and I do like a lot of things the way they are done, especially the support team. I respect Adam and his team, as it was the closest experience I had towards a stellar support experience.
Adam, if you do not know it, it does not mean it does not exist. (people coming from cPanel or other older panels that are mature and have the time to implement all the wishes people needed to manage), it would be a mistake not to look at why cpanel was and still is successful and not consider them.
The bellow it is Important.
I think the biggest mistake and misunderstanding here is that "we ask for optimisation," and in reality, we want UI access to settings for optimisation. Adam and his team had already optimised the software to some extent, and he asked himself what more we needed. 🙂 (Users want UI access to the parameters that can be used to optimise the server)
We still need other Basic things implemented before considering asking for so much UI work on Enhance.
I am still giving away email storage for free to clients because Enhance can not limit and calculate all storage a client uses.
We still offer email without much ability to control the flow of emails/hour as a safeguard against spammers. (it will come I am aware, but I was waiting for the basics for a while)
I am sure there is a Config file somewhere on the server, and I could manually do it there. 🙂 right? I guess it makes the point.
