Microsoft 365 Quick Configure DNS Button Like Google Workspace

While it's great that there is a button to quick configure DNS for Google Workspace, it would be nice if the same love were shown to Microsoft 365. This is arguably the more difficult of the two to configure. For us, being a Microsoft shop, 95% of our email clients are 365 with only 5% being workspace.

There are 11 necessary records to fully setup Microsoft 365. Most are straight forward like workspace and could be easily done with a button. Yes, I could also accomplish almost all of the records with a zone template, but zone templates are currently global and they affect all domains and packages. I think the Google workspace button is exactly where it belongs, and if we have a button to quick configure Google Workspace, it only makes sense that we would have one for Microsoft 365.

(As always, I'm sorry if this is planned. I did search the forum and roadmap and was surprised to not be able to find it.)

Do you still setup all 11 records? I thought MX (unique), autodiscover, spf and the MS=xxx (unique) were the only compulsory records?

xyzulu You are correct, having just went through the 365 process for a customer a few days ago. However, I wonder if OP is selecting the other options available in 365 too, such as setting up the records for Intune (I think Skype for Business might even still be an option too) etc - that's all I can think of.

xyzulu No, I certainly don't always do all 11 records. But I do have a fair number of clients who use Entra (Azure) for cloud AD where those records are required , and it is becoming much more common as small businesses part with their on-premise active directory controllers.

I think Office 365 requires a deeper integration than Gmail because the records will be specific to your account. It's definitely possible in the future.
