PHP Config/Settings from Enhance UI

It would be great if we had the following options to set per site, like RunCloud.

The settings under PHP settings in your screenshot you can set under 'Developer tools' -> 'php.ini editor'. (for a website)

I think php-fpm settings can be set cluster wide under 'Settings' -> 'Service' -> 'Application' but I didn't try those yet.

I know. However, I'm referring to the "Managed" settings like this. The current Enhanced panel php.ini editor is not user-friendly for non-tech (general) users.

Yes, PHP-FPM settings are available for clusters but not for each site, as shown in the shared image.

Shaijee you can set custom php-fpm on per website basis by going to the "overrides" setting screen.

I prefer the Enhance UI myself. Too many people know not what they were doing when they adjusted values in things like this.

It would be better in this case to have it configurable per Package giving the default setting and the limit setting.
So for example a Package with memory_limit=256M (default when creating the subscription) and memory_limit=512M (max value that can be modified by customer)

I'm never in favor of giving people a guided experience into changing settings that they don't understand. If they don't know what a simple php.ini config file is they shouldn't be touching a thing.

In my opinion, Runcloud markets itself as a "anyone can install this on their server and host websites and click buttons to make sites go zoom zoom" which is... a path they chose to take.

Enhance doesn't seem to be taking that path, fortunately.

I would agree but a lot of customers have asked for the potential keys to be listed, including some larger users of Enhance. The feature request has been added.

Now a days people want handy/easy to managed services. As you may have noticed, Managed Services are now trending and becoming more popular day by day.

RunCloud is different and Enhance is different. Too many options will cause confusion and the customers may set wrong values and mess up everything, blaming the company, which will have to spend time fixing it, costing money.
Better not having all these, and avoiding headache.

@Shaijee, Managed services provide you with lesser options than what you want. The host manages it for the client/customer. When you are looking for self management, then these things come into picture.
