Website Not Stopped after Bandwidth Limit is Over

We have a few clients who have crossed their monthly bandwidth limit, but it seems like Enhance hasn't suspended their website yet. As overage billing is not yet supported through any of the available Billing software, we will have to now charge the client extra for the bandwidth.

Is it possible that Enhance suspends the website once bandwidth limit is reached?

As far as I know, this is only a soft limit at the moment, i.e. it indicates that the limit has been exceeded, but there are no consequences. In the future, I am sure that an option to automatically suspend the site will be implemented.

Correct, this is currently a soft limit. You can bill the client for the overage.

The ability to impose a hard limit (to take the websites offline) is coming but this is becoming increasingly unfashionable for shared hosting.

The US and Europe have unlimited bandwidth
In Australia, you end up paying $70 for 1TB of data, and hard limited is a lifesaver for a business if someone decides they want to use a lot of it overnight as 1 TB can be used fast at 1 GB speed with a good network.

I know Enhance has not put much effort yet into limits, but a control panel should do that. This is what it is supposed to do 🙂 Control the usage. 🙂

Everyone needs it, and at some point in time, I think the Enhance Team should look into this and implement it properly, including the Storage control and actions if a limit is hit./

Isaia-Arknet_PTY_LTD Exactly, we faced a similar situation with a user for his VPS hosted with AWS. The bandwidth he exceeded was 500GB and the bill was not much, also the customer agreed to pay, so no issues here.

But suspension would be useful here. AWS charges for bandwidth are higher.
@Adam we sell AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, and it will be difficult to afford if a customer uses a few TB and refuses to pay.
