Receiving an error when creating new websites, adding alias, or addon domain

Hello,

This morning I started receiving this error when I am trying to add new websites, or alias's to existing websites in my system. I only have the one server for testing and it does not have the DNS role, everything has been working fine for a few days until now.

The first time I do anything I receive the error in the first screenshot, if I try again I receive the second one. If I try to add the website in the admin panel I receive a message saying the domain is already in the system, but I have checked all websites and its not anywhere - I have tried this with 6 domains and all have the same issues.

I have tried reading the DNS role which didn't change anything, I have also checked I am running the latest version 10.6.1 of the code and I have restarted the system but I still get the same issues.

Hi All, Adam from support got it sorted for me. Turns out I had added a platform DNS record in my platform settings to be default on new domains. I had added it under www and that broke things.

So to fix, I removed my platform DNS zone, and ran the following:
docker exec -it orchd-postgres psql -U enahnce

delete from domains where domain = 'the-new-domain.com';
