Hello, i need help for something.
I have one cloud vps at hetzner 240gb and one volume 1tb.
How can i save all the data from all the sites in to 1tb?
Or to save only the files, for example, i have one wordpress and i want to save the content folder in to the volume.
I don't mind if it needs to be manualy done in every site.

Sokakis you want the working directories to be on the hetzner block storage or just the backups?
That's 40 euros a month on top of the _25€ you're already paying for the VPS, why don't you just get a dedicated server somewhere with a couple of TB of NVMe or SSD?
Much more affordable options with far better performance even from hetzner.

Oldschool not for backup but for site images (wordpress). I have a dedicated server to hetzner i5 13500 me 64gb ram and 1tb nvme but there's no stability. Many times the server is off, the other day the mobo is off, then the nvme is off etc. the same problem appears and to the dedicated server, if you want to use the extra harddrive how do you use it?

Sokakis Maybe if you mount your 1tb disk into /var? So all things enhance would go there.

Sokakis Thats very unusual from heztner. A support ticket with details of the history should get it resolved. If you've tried this and still getting these issues and are sure its not user error, there are a lot of high quality dedicated server providers in Europe that will be way cheaper than heztner vps + bock storage but good luck.

Sokakis Yes, hetzner can replace the drives and mobo, but if you are looking to replace the entire server, try the AMD servers, they are perfectly stable and having been running for months now, without a single issue.

JohnB agreed with this, hetzner is pretty good on replacing faulty hardware or resolving issues.

netcup & racknode are the ones that come to mind. I know europe has better prices than USA for dedis because I ran across them a lot when looking for a dedicated provider. But I haven't committed them to memory as I'm a USA customer.

None will be cheaper than a heztner dedi but will cheaper than this large VPS + block storage VPS idea. To OP, give Heztner dedi a chance and if they are saying they need to put you on a new server do that.

Worldstream is one I tested for a backup server outside USA but only for about a month. Their international speed was poor (for huge file transfers) and they were honest about probably not being the best option for me and gave a refund without problems. I imagine their European network is way better
