If this is really the direction Enhance intends to take, it would be deeply disappointing.
This panel didn’t grow thanks to the big hosting corporations — it grew with the support, feedback and trust of the small hosters, the ones who believed from day one that it was possible to build something different.
Now that things are “looking good”, because something solid and valuable has been created, the big players suddenly show up with money in hand, trying to take the best part — even though they never contributed anything meaningful along the way.
Of course, money is necessary — no one questions that. But turning your back on the small hosters who helped this platform grow, just to chase the money of the big ones, would be one of the saddest and most disappointing things you could do.
Still, we want to believe that Enhance will respect those who have been here all along — the ones using the panel every day, recommending it, reporting bugs, and suggesting improvements to make it better.
We sincerely hope there won’t be any hidden clauses or new “extras” charged separately, and that those who have supported Enhance since the beginning will also have a place in the Partner area — even if just as a sign of recognition and respect for all the contributions that helped shape what Enhance has become today.
We also hope that the improvements and suggestions many have been sharing — which sadly haven’t appeared as frequently lately — will start showing up again, as they used to.
I haven’t been here for more than a year myself, but it’s impossible not to notice that this decline has been happening. If the goal is to be “big”, then Enhance should start listening again to those who bring resources, ideas, and commitment — not only to those who bring money.
Because every big company was once small. They just tend to forget the path they took to get there, and fear that the small ones of today might become the big ones of tomorrow.
Here among the smaller hosters — through sharing ideas, feature requests, and solutions — we’ve built empathy and mutual respect. We know there’s room for all of us.
The greatness of a company is measured by how it treats those who stood by it when no one else believed.
