I like this new roadmap, comes across as a big improvement. Even for true tech products run by passionate tech people, communication is a major fundamental thing that needs to be spot on.

Not speaking about the missing of targets or primary focus areas chosen, which don't align with my usecase, but I hope it pays off for their strategic goals.

This is a well-crafted and improved roadmap. It's important to recognize that people's needs vary, so the roadmap may not completely satisfy everyone. However, what matters most is maintaining a high level of quality and ensuring a bug-free system through thorough testing and quality control.

It would be great if the Enhance team could create something like a customer survey where everyone can choose what is a priority for them, and based on that, create the roadmap.

I see a very good plan, but for me the reason why I still have some clients on cPanel is just support for Node and Python. If enhance would give me this I wouldn't mind waiting for the rest, because I feel like the rest of the features are more focused on the hosting company than the client.

If I had to choose:

Nodejs and Python support
Ability to migrate control panel. (This is actually a time bomb cause I don't know what will happen if my enhance server goes down.
Firewall and anything security. ( CSF like feature)
Everything email as per the current outline.

The rest, no pressure.

road map looks great, could we get the "last update" at the top as the full date so its more obvious as to when it was last updated?

I also want NodeJS support but I'd rather they take their time and implement it correctly unlike how cpanel does it or nginx unit. Reliably supporting multiple versions of NodeJS has little in common with the current stacks I imagine.

Thanks for the updated roadmap. Waiting for NodeJs support so I can finally make the switch from DirectAdmin to Enhance but I will need to have some more patience. Atleast once NodeJs support will be added there will be a lot of new extra features which is also positive. Keep up the good work Enhance!

Wow, this roadmap looks much better! I can tell they are working on some big internal changes, like all the different services they are migrating to appcd. As a developer myself, I know those kind of things can be time consuming, but once they are done you usually end up with a better system to maintain. The challenge is also to keep everything working between the updates, I prefer them testing everything until they are happy with it, instead of deploying an update that breaks the server(s). 😉

Given the recent issues with the latest releases, taking time to thoroughly test and fix these problems is necessary, IMO.
