cPGuard + Enhance

eba8 cPGuard X I think it's a neat idea but it's far too early in the project IMO.

cPGuard on it's own (with Enhance or any Linux install) is great.

eba8 We're rolling out cPGuard and debating between cPGuard and cPGuard X.

If you are using Enhance then it's not really a debate because the product cPGuard is security software you can install on Enhance but cPGuard X is a control panel which you would use instead of Enhance.

We use cPGuard extensively and have been very happy with it. Personally, I'd rather see their primary focus remain on developing and enhancing the security side of the platform, which is where I feel they add the most value, but that's just my opinion.

MarkD are you not using Enhance at all in that case? 🤔 I was wondering if the X version of Cpguard could actually provide the best of both worlds.

We're almost done migrating sites to the new Enhance cluster we've created and now your reply has made me rethink our entire approach.

With the development of Frontier models, its now easy to create a control panel , personally i prefer to pay someone else for the work since i am busy, but a lot of panel have and more will pop up, most of them won't survive the competition, same goes for billing software like BLESTA , WHMCS etc ... its interesting to see how the market changes.

Personally for my business i like to choose established panels like DA, and currently still testing Enhance and waiting for few features before fully move, i could try to create my own inhouse but i don't see any real money for me on that field and paying 30-60 usd extra per server that brings profit its not an issue.

Enhance needs to fix litespeed auto fix 503 / and github auto deploy for node and then its perfect for me
