cancel pending restores (20+)

Had a server go down this evening, forcing us to decommission (fine, shit happens).

I restored sites from the decommissioned server and selected the first site from a list of 10, not realizing that all sites on paginated pages were still selected.

I now have 20+ sites, some large, all dumping on a backup-server that none of these were intended for. I see no means of canceling pending transfers, or stopping to 20+ pendings. (which will no doubt fail in the end due to disk space on top of the fact they'll never all run there anyway).

Anyone know how to cancel pending migrations (restores), from Orchard?

digitalexpanse I need this too. I had a restore process fail on me and now it is no longer working, not even backup. How to cancel it?

I had a similar problem but these were cPanel imports that failed and were still pending. Adam gave me this:

docker exec -it orchd-postgres psql -U enhance
update import_migrations set status = 'failed' where status = 'queued';

I imagine that "import_migrations" might have to be tweaked to work.

MediaServe You are correct.

I sent a support ticket and a similar solution was given. It worked like a charm.

This were the commands, to be executed one my one on the CP server.

docker exec -it orchd-postgres psql -U enhance
update restores set finished_at = now() where finished_at is null;

pending was easy, restart orchrd
still unsure how to manually stop in-progress (killed rsync), 30 min later still waiting for enhance to fail, there must be a way

@MediaServe perhaps that query can be modified to fail in progress as well, connected with match on websiteID.
