I guess the issue is that Enhance does not run at the root level and is also distributed on multiple servers, so log access can be restricted for the user who uses Enhance to run under.
cPanel was running as root, and the control panel you tested was probably running as root as well. (Maybe it is a good idea to share the software you were testing so others can learn from it) this is why some software can easily provide access to logs as they are on the same server panel works, and Root lever provides access to those logs.
Enhance tries to keep security tight (a good thing from some perspectives), but with some restrictions, you lose some flexibility and features.
I am sure if the feature were as simple as two lines of code, Enhance developers would have implemented that first. 🙂
