update from appcd 2.6.0 / Enhance 10.8.6

Hello

I'm still running older version of Enhance with 2.6.0 appcd and planning to update everything next weekend. Should I worry about appcd version 2.6.0 to 4.1 change? What is the right way to update for me? Update appch on all servers with apt and start the Enhance update from GUI without restarting the servers after appcd update?

Take a snapshot of one of. your servers and test the upgrade.
In future, keep up with upgrades, some of them are critical to security. Also, it's unlikely you have installed Ubuntu kernel and other updates if you have not updated appcd for so long.. so try to resolve that as well for the future.

You're unlikely to have any problems. It will be a lot smoother if you update appcd on every server first.

apt update
apt install appcd

The only thing to bear in mind, if you've ever moved between Ubuntu versions (20.04 -> 22.04 -> 24.04) check your /etc/apt/sources.list.d/enhance.list refers to the correct code base, jammy for 22.04 and noble for 24.04.
