Failed to add 'Email' role to 'bk01'

Failed to add 'Email' role to 'bk01': It is not possible to add a domain beginning with mail.

Trying to install email role, set HELO name to mail.domain.com and got this error.

Looked through documentation and didn't see why this is blocked.

Tried searching if this came up before in forums, but can't figure out how to do a string search in here? Is there a way?

edit: Ok, so it says the email role is there showing on the server now. So what failed? Do I remove and try again?

It might just be that your browser lost connection to the API for a moment. If the role is showing up I think everything will be ok. If you want to be sure, SSH to the mail server and run:

appcd-cli install-mta
appcd-cli install-imap

It didn't like that, wants me to define the IP address before the install-mta command

Also, why does it state that it's not possible to add a domain beginning with mail?

Adam If the app server is different from the mail server will that matter?
