Moving control role to another server

I was wondering if there is a way to move the control role from one server to another, so it can become the main one.

Do not underestimate such a move if you already have people signing into the controller and have setup all your firewall rules.

Seems like v 12.0.0 has been moved for one whole month now from 26th August to 26th September. 🙁

manu not just one month, it's been pushed back 3/4 of a year. This is the most important feature needed too, all dev and all feature requests should be frozen until this extremely critical component is fully rolled out.

I’m shocked.
The lack of releases over the past 3 weeks lead me to believe work was being done on 12.0 and that it was on track. @Adam kept posting that small issues were also on hold while they get 12.0 out the door. 3 weeks, no small issues fixed.. and now 1 month more with no issues fixed and no 12.0 ?
I’m a bit disappointed the Enhance didn’t let some of us know (at least here on these forums) as well. Feeling a bit mislead to be honest.

xyzulu really? I'd be more shocked if the roadmap was actually on time for once lol... This is why I think quarterly targets would be better, more realistic expectations, less disgruntled users waiting on features.

Sure, we’re basically on to a quarterly release now anyway. Just with not many bug fixes in between.

I'm frustrated also, but I believe if they changed the date it's because it would be impossible for them to do it right on that time.

I prefer later than with bugs.
But they could have noticed us directly, or here on this forum.

I realize it's frustrating as this is an important feature, but the worst scenario is when updates are released premature and all the problems that might follow. Let's make sure not to rush major updates.

Wow. A full month pushback is indeed sad to see. I fully understand that the team does not want to release something if it is not ready, and with what is coming with integrations of separate services into one, I am sure some refactoring was/is taking place.

But, it still feels like a tough pill to swallow that the anticipated changes of v. 12 are now farther away, and 12.1 which has some much needed/anticipated features is even farther off.

This means that other critical matters (which are not even road-mapped any more) like logs in the interface for users, resellers and admins are effectively in an unknown state from our perspective.

Enhance - please take the time to get it right, but after almost a year for us and several for many others here, it is time to get the logs into the interface, please. I cannot continue to say to end users, "please wait while we open a command line, and then have you test live with one of our team members..." If I simply search for the word "log" on the Roadmap page, guess what... nada, zilch, nothing. Sorry, I must protest. That is unacceptable.

I'm not sure why these bigger updates are not split, most needed features first then minor things last.
There are plenty of numbers between v11.0.4 and v12.0.0

The v12 update was still ETA 26th of August until around 8th - 10th after 11.0.4 was released maybe longer but the page says it was last updated in May.

Control Panel Migration feature will be included in the upcoming v12 update. Initially, it was postponed a few months ago, with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) set for August 26, 2024. However, it has now been delayed once more by one month, and the new ETA is September 26, 2024.
