It'd be nice if user sees only his assigned CPU, RAM in htop or top if they ran inside thier ssh session. Currently htop or top displays whole server information and user can see how much cpu cores server he is on has and so is RAM, which in my opinion is not professional and fully isolated approach, i agree user can't see processes other than his but still i think this needs to be addressed.

OR, something like cloudlinux's CageFS should be considered where all these commands are blocked from running at user level.

Some might disagree with me saying its too macro but i like things neat, professional and tidy.

It's still shared hosting for a reason... If you don't like it, go for cloudlinux... I don't see the problem.. Otherwise you should maybe only sell vps servers...

All other panels shows this, if not inside SSH. They show it on the Panel itself!

AdamM Yes, but most of the shared hosting providers disable 'shell_exec', which also blocks from seeing server config apart from all other security concerns it prevents by disabling this function..

mmm, i have checked and this is exactly how it works on other panels, like cpanel an DA. any user can do a top, and see CPU-RAM of the entire server.

not just that, you don't even need SSH, with DA you have "server information" and see everything detailed, on cpu, ram space, and Cpanel has something similar.

i would say is transparency, we even have some KB docs related about ti, so our clients can compare our powerful servers to their previous providers, and so they can compare 🙂

It's just that when you isolate users you should isolate them properly, now i agree that transparency and what not is also there but when you give clients sneak peak in your server configuration then clients can use it against you in ways you can not even imagine, reasons because cloudlinux is isolating these things are considerable and yes, if we can use cloudlinux then why are we all even considering enhance? let me tell you, because we want to set an example to companies like cloudlinux, cpanel that they shouldn't be in delusion that they hold grip on the market by pushing enhance like startups to provide real competitive edge against those!
