Yes, cPFence is fully compatible with the Enhance control panel. We have extensively tested it on all Enhance server roles, including the Main Control Panel and Email roles. cPFence is specifically designed to detect and block malware and phishing links in incoming emails as well as within domain files.
What cPFence brings to the table are four key areas essential for any host-based security solution: A powerful, hourly-updated IPDB to block malicious IPs and scanners that are pervasive across the internet, along with File Integrity Monitoring, malware detection, and active response. While any skilled server admin can implement these themselves, doing so and maintaining them requires significant effort and time. That’s why a solution like cPFence can help you manage all these aspects in a plug-and-play software, making your life easier.
Regarding UI integration, it will be available as soon as the Enhance team completes the necessary API.
We originally developed cPFence for our own use, and it has served us exceptionally well, to the point where we install it by default on all our clients' servers. To protect the software, we wrapped it in a license-based system, and we've recently decided to offer it to the public in two versions: a free version (antivirus only) and a paid version (full features).
As for showing it to Enhance Team, we haven't done that yet. However, we're now releasing it to the public on the Enhance forums and encourage all server admins and security researchers to give it a test drive. We welcome any security audits or specialized tests that may be required.
