I would love to know the actual specs - cpu, memory(speed), disk on the servers you tested. Even on our older XCP-ng servers (2.6GHz; DDR4 RAM, 12G SAS SSD) The sites and panel are spectacularly responsive. Our Plesk servers on the same hardware are bloated, slow and when one attempts to use either the Plesk admin or customer interface it is painfully slow.
We started with well-tuned Apache on Enhance - everything was quite responsive in comparison to Plesk hosting.
When we upgraded our web servers to Litespeed, Ryzen 9 7950x3d and local NVMe the experience is a flat-out race car.
Granted, we have our own entire infrastructure, so do not depend on 3rd party cloud infrastructure, but I have tested on Digital Ocean, Akaimi (Linode) and several more localized cloud providers for some customers we manage, and every time the Enhance hosting is better performing over all.
Enhance is by no means perfect (here goes our BETTER LOGS/ LOG RETENTION / GET THE LOGS INTO THE INTERFACE plug); but... support is best in the business, and the core hosting functionality/clustering is top notch and dead simple.
@LordKurgan sorry you had a different experience, but I have to agree with others here. Having tried CyberPanel and also having worked with one of our VPS customers trying to get that thing running, stable and secure... I am not sure I would ever return to that product.
You mentioned RAM/Disk usage. I could see this being an issue if you are running hosting on VM's on someone else's platform. Again, this is of no concern in our paradigm. Did you open tickets and work with the Enhance team on this? I am no stranger to Enhance support (no doubt they cringe when they see yet another ticket from us... 😉 but in nearly every case the problem was assesses, acknowledged and fixed or a work-around provided in a day or less.
