So, after the shenanigans with Matt, a group of us have filed opposition with our solicitors/lawyers to the patent. However, it’s not looking good. It appears, there may be a chance that WordPress may be ending up as a closed source project, according to some insiders - if this happens, the WP ecosystem for hosting will have to change massively, and a fork of WordPress will need to be made. So, how will Enhance deal with this potential possibility? How will you deal with the situation where your customers can no longer use WordPress updates, plugins or themes from WordPress directly?
