I am trying the Redis Object Cache plugin by Till Kruss. It seems dragonfly isn't working with this plugin. The status shows not connected.

Zoinkies The development for LiteSpeed config is already underway so that will be with you much sooner. We're looking at early March for this (which is a slight delay on the roadmapped date.)

AdamM Wow, that looks really impressive.
I believe that Enhance comes with some type of support for caching soon, maybe with launch of nginx I expect some type of caching.

Hi all!

Good to see Enhance is bringing Redis caching.
I was lurking around on the litespeed cache plugin on wordpress, saw the option object cache.
Well, I know redis-cache is already running in a container at this moment.
So I decided to see if i can connect the redis cache to that container.

It works, but now I am thinking wait.. for what is this redis-cache container being used?

Anyone that has an idea? Is it smart to just use the IP the container has and put all wordpress sites on that single redis container?

There are 2 redis containers deployed by Enhance. One (orchd-redis) is used for caching session data and the other (spamcd-redis) is used as part of the rspamd anti-spam setup. Both require authentication.

I would not recommend using either for website caching. It's best to wait for official support but otherwise I would suggest manually creating a separate Redis container.

I'll like to bump this thread to request for Memcached support. It is as fast as redis with less moving parts. It follows KISS policy. I don't see the need for redis unless you have the need for it's clustering and advanced features. Memcached is multi-threaded and can use all server resources without the need to have multiple clusters like redis for maximum performance. Memcached equals DragonFly in Performance. DragonFlyDB have more features though.

I would like to use this instead of redis.
My guess is that the enhance team will do the redis integration first but I would really like to use dragonflydb instead of redis.
I hope the Enhance team will also do this and it will be possible to change it like with web servers.

Hi AdamM, at the moment we only have plans for Redis. IF you haven't already, can I please ask that you create a different feature request thread for dragonflydb so we can track popularity for this feature. Thanks!

If we're getting Redis, it would be awesome to have the latest greatest client with it as an option, instead of just PhpRedis.
