For personal use, mainly for myself, family and friends, no billing system is needed, and there may be 20 WooCommerce websites and more than 10 blogs.
If you don't consider the price, what advantages do you think enhance has over Plesk? And runcloud?

I’d definitely recommend Enhance over Plesk or RunCloud. If you’re on an unmanaged VPS, you’ll need some server admin skills no matter which platform you choose, even with Plesk.

That said, I’d suggest testing both Enhance and Plesk to see which one fits your needs better. Everyone’s preferences are different, so it’s worth finding what works best for you.

I't really hard to suggest because this is case to case bases. if you are good in server admin then go to enhance, if you want easy manage go to runcloud I never use plesk.

In Enhance you will need more sysadmin skills because many operations or problems must be resolved manually (which isn't a flaw, it's just something to know), meanwhile in Plesk you have a button for everything and via webpage you can practically do everything (but if it doesn't work, you'll do without).

We're running away from plesk cause it's so slow and for us the "plesk layer" creates more problems than it solves, so we're slowly moving here. Sites are much faster, everything is smooter and cluster management is 100 times better, but you need to know what you do via CLI.

For personal use i would say that it depends on your skills. If you're fine with SSH, cli command and you know/want to learn ubuntu than enhance will be cool, otherwise if you plan to not waste time on Sysadmin aspect and you don't create particularly complex sites, then maybe you should stick to plesk.

I answer you: i only use dedicated servers, and the servers are the same (same provider), but the overall single site were heavier on plesk, maybe the reverse webserver (apache+ngnix) vs openlitespeed, maybe cloudlinux vs ubuntu, maybe enhance vs plesk, but every site did like 30 to 50% better performance here. And with the same resources, we limit them on both plesk and enhance.

When I refer to the “Plesk layer,” I mean the structure of Plesk itself. It’s effective as long as everything runs smoothly, but when there’s an issue, troubleshooting becomes extremely complex because Plesk isn’t very open, and I hope you never open a ticket with them to resolve a problem 😃

You're welcome! If you've successfully followed the guide and set up your Enhance backup server, guess what? You already have enough admin skills to run an Enhance cluster if only running simple personal sites. In my opinion, Enhance requires less management skills compared to Plesk.

For example:

1- Setting up a new server with the same configuration takes minutes in Enhance, whereas in Plesk, it can take hours and requires advanced skills. With Enhance, even a newbie can handle it easily.
2- Enhance allows in-place major OS upgrades, while with Plesk, it’s a complete nightmare. Each major upgrade involves setting up new servers, painful migrations, and reconfigurations.

These are just two examples off the top of my head. That said, I’d still recommend testing both platforms to see which one fits your needs best ,that’s always the best approach.

In all honesty probably not much at a personal level.
Plesk is still a pretty solid platform and very well documented. Performance should be pretty comparable at the end of the day between any panel once optimised.

Biggest thing is that anything parasitic venture capitalists like 'Oakley Capital' who own cPanel/Plesk touch usually turns to shit as they extract all the money they can out of it while investing the least they can until the host company dies.

Enhance gives you a scalable platform, modern technologies and Panel that can rapidly innovate. Team is independent and has big plans to grow the panel. If you plan to scale past 1 server it makes more sense, for just a single server I'd evaluate if DirectAdmin better meets your requirements.

Runcloud lacks hourly backup function and official support for security components such as Cpguard/Bitninja.

This will be a difficult choice.

I'm not the best person to ask but I have theories

Madly rushing out features for a large cloud platform which has re-prioritised the roadmap
Hit a brick wall on how far they could develop without a major architectural change
Broken project management and leadership (Most likely), ie ever growing list of release deliverables and deadlines getting pushed back time and time again.

The project is far from abandoned, we just have to get past this v12.
In all fairness these change are very very significant and not a trivial theme change which cPanel consider a major improvement.

buzheteng runcloud can install cpguard i already install one also, but you need business plan if you want nginx/apache or openLite if you don't have business plan.

I'm also using runcloud but once enhance release version 12 i will transfer them.
