I would like to suggest an improvement to the automatic user impersonate feature that activates when clicking on a user’s website in the control panel.
While this feature can be helpful in certain scenarios, it is inconvenient in most cases. Automatically impersonating a user often limits access to the advanced functionalities of the control panel that are available only to administrators or higher-tier packages. This becomes an issue when performing advanced tasks or actions requiring administrative rights, leaving us with only these workarounds:
- Temporarily transferring ownership of the site to admin.
- Modifying the assigned package.
To improve the usability of the panel, I suggest making the impersonation feature manual, perhaps through a dedicated option in the site’s menu or an additional button. This way, users would have the flexibility to decide if and when to impersonate an account without resorting to workarounds.
