This is indeed something that needs improvement! While the A-record is present in the SPF-record and the SPF check passes, Outlook shows the email as unverified and often marks it as spam.
You can set the from address when sending mail but it displays "noreply@domain.com via web01.hostingcompany.com". In the Postfix logging the from address is mentioned as "username@web01.hostingcompany.com" instead of "noreply@domain.com"
Of course there are workaround by sending your mail via SMTP or use the PHP mail function with the -f flag but if you use some standard software, this is not always an option.
It would be nice if the default from address is set to something as noreply@domain.com or even web@domain.com to avoid this issue.
Or go back to the situation which was there before Enhance 11? Where all mail is send via the central MTA? (I am not that long a customer so don't know if this problem was there also in that situation.)
