Please make sure you list each issue you find and report them to the Enhance Team if you haven’t already.

Also, try testing the migration process if you can. One of my team members noticed random failures during test migrations, but I haven’t had time to dig into it myself yet. If you get a chance to test it, that would be helpful.

Worth mentioning a few things we came across:

To access the LS/OLS admin panel in v12, you need to manually open the port:

  sudo ufw allow 7080
  sudo ufw reload
```
When adding a new server, you might see the IPv6 being picked instead of IPv4, which causes the role installation to fail. Adam mentioned the next version will fix it, but for now, you can just manually correct the IP.
The MySQL issue has been fixed in the latest update , can confirm that one is good now.

We’re almost done adapting cPFence for v12, so the update won’t be far off. That said, I’d still recommend holding off a little longer and letting the Enhance team work through the current issues and push a few more fixes. Always better to let the first wave clear things up before jumping in.

DracoBlue It's a matter of a few minutes once we have access to the upgraded server. As said, the changes are minor and easier as the service is now systemd managed. We hope it will make things easier for us to add new things in the future. Since this thread is dedicated for enhance v12 update, we will start a new thread later to follow up on the changes in cPGuard.

Just did the v12 update. Just two servers, main and backup. Everything seemed to go smooth, but my websites are down.

When I go into control panel for a site, under developer tools, where you change the php version, under that it says "failed to load"

If I try to change PHP versions it says error.

Permissions look correct. There is no php error log in the individual accounts.

CloudyBlake wonder if that's related to your upgrade to ubuntu 24... Adam said before to try reinstalling php to fix issues with php during the 22>24 upgrade, but IDK if the php packages have changed since version 12 today. Could be worth trying if you don't want to wait too long with sites down:
apt install --reinstall ecp-php{56,70,71,72,73,74,80,81,82,83}

Are backups supposed to dissappear after the v12 upgrade? Backup server shows that the disk space is in use, but there are no backups listed and each website shows no backups.

I know the backups "appear" to disappear, but they will "return" once the next back runs.. at least I recall reading that somewhere.

Upgrade from v11 failed to copy FTP users which had no relative path
Inability to add an FTP user with no relative path
Filerd proxies not correctly added for new control panel domains.

They even work at night! The Enhance team. I’m full of admiration!

When doing a manual backup, it makes a new full backup, and starts showing the old backups in the website tab. But the backup role keeps showing 0. Also, I'm running automatic backups every few hours, and they all didn't trigger. So on the backup part, there are issues.

Anyone else experiencing the same?

edit: after updating one app/db server to 12.0.3 it seems like the automatic backups start coming in. Must almost be a coincidence, but it seems to be fixed. Still not showing on the backup role though....

rdbf I have the same issue. The backups show on the individual websites (although no space used listed) but on the backup server it seems to have started fresh, shows 0 and disk space is filling up fast instead of just doing the snapshots.

I cant remeber exactly where but somewhere during the installation procedure a prompt appears saying 'now run sudo-apt xxxxxxx'. There should be a warning in the instructions to ignore this prompt, as I and others ended up running it, resulting in database and system wide issues.

Can confirm this. Cloudflare API tokens seem to be gone, and can't add new ones. Tokens are confirmed valid and reachable from any IP.

I have this as well.

Anyone else tried a graceful restart of DB role (MariaDB) via the panel and it does not restart?
