Kosta I've been following your posts for a few months now and the way you communicate always strikes me as negative.

You can of course express your wishes and suggest new features. But please pay attention to the way you communicate with others. It's noticeable that you often just make demands instead of expressing your wishes. Or you start attacking others personally if they disagree with you.

Especially in a forum, it is sometimes difficult to understand a person's mood, so it is all the more important to pay attention to the way you write something.

I'm not trying to attack you, just to encourage you to write more thoughtfully in future. Then you will certainly get more (and better) reactions.

    Kosta Not for us. There are way to many OTHER things that are required in v. 12 before this should even be considered. Better webmail - at least allow roundcube plugins; better email (on roadmap); logs in the interface for admins and end users; and so on...

    I want Enhance energies focused on stable v.12 and the next 6 months of hopeful roadmap items handled way before any energy is spent on "installable apps"

      All u had to do is to type +1 and name one fav app! But no you all coming talking shit!
      If the team can release 18 updates to their whole platform in 7 days they can do so add 18 apps in their platform in that timeframe.
      You just had to type +1 to get more of Enhance now you all will get less.

        I think its bad to put this on the Enhance team, this will take away focus and time on the panel instead and make they keep up with the app version released. And when you have hundreds of apps then that really becomes time consuming.

        I think it would be better to integrate Softaculous or Installatron. Or maybe create a system where we can add the .zip files of the app we want and fix the automation ourselves.

            One app a week is ridiculous. The developers are busy with other things but even they focused on this it would be a month or more.

            You need some kinda of app manager for each app just like they have in WordPress. Backups and restoration, support for all different webservers, updates etc. Many apps aren't as easy to integrate as WordPress

            Btw the API supports creating FTP users and running MySQL imports. With these two you can run these basic deployment scripts from your own page outside of enhance.

              From my point of view I am 100% sure they won’t spend more than a day to add one app.
              As they have already build one app that requires web server, MySQL and php same as 90 of 100 open source apps out there.
              So that being said they just need to add a zip file, a metadata file that will import the username pass, db, website title etc. and one icon file per app.
              I am not asking for app manager they have for WP, just to deploying the app.
              I can’t understand how backups and restoration has anything to with this.
              If Adam can send me the required file/files that are responsible to deploy the Wordpress into public_html and add database I can have a look to just edit to suit for other apps and send it back to him…

                          This is the type of thing that once Enhance builds an plugin system, is something a developer can make as an addon for the few that want it. It should not be part of the "core" enhance, or at least not for a long time.

                              My point is if you haven't even developed a large complex project there are things that seem simple that really aren't.

                                  prismweb this is the way. We can also deploy with extra features the way we want. I've WordPress with elementor installed or a custom CMS.

                                  Again this CAN be done with current API and FTP. Perhaps I should write a script and share...
