Building "apps" using the Enhance api (to enhance Enhance)

Has anyone successfully built any apps using the Enhance api? My current use case is to be able to import BIND formatted DNS records to a zone. The Enhance api supports this of course..

I was looking at https://www.tooljet.ai (you can self host since it's open source and free if need be). Has anyone used something similar? I don't want to re-invent the wheel, or waste time.. but I get the feeling many missing features in Enhance might already be possible using the api (at least DNS importing is).

Side idea: perhaps we (whoever that may be) could collaborate on such a tool (frontend to the Enhance api to enhance it) to help fill some gaps.. just all ideas at this point.. out of frustration with the lack of bug fixes and features promised but not yet added.

I've been working on a script that uses the API to offer more than just Wordpress / Wordpress Woo installation as well as authentication via Enhance for a webapp that could run alongside Enhance. Pretty sure a directadmin or cyberpanel migrator could be made via the API as well. Its a bit annoying that their file manager features are not documented in the API but it seems possible to use it anyway. Using the documented API endpoints you can only create an FTP user which could be used programmatically. Haven't done any DNS related customizations.

Unfortunately based on what I've seen in the forum people aren't interested in paying for third party features (ie a directadmin/cyberpanel migration service). That means most people who have made customizations made them for their own company and won't want to share. We also aren't allowed to sell services here thanks to a scammer

Yes, I have scripts that will automate migrations from Enhance, Runcloud, Plesk or other stacks to Enhance. Using API to create domains, wordpress installs, etc.

But I am not doing dns or other things in Enhance.

We use the Enhance API to set up WordPress based on pre-made templates that the user selects before placing their order through WHMCS. Afterward, the details are sent to their email and displayed on the service details page within WHMCS, all without granting them access to the Enhance platform. This provides a simple "WordPress-as-a-Service" experience, and we plan to expand and improve this further in the near future.

We also integrated the Enhance API to extend the WHMCS module, allowing clients to manage their email directly from the service details page on WHMCS. This provides a faster and more convenient experience, eliminating the need for clients to log in to Enhance. I previously shared some screenshots; here is the link:

I'm not invested in the ai of this tool.. more just looking for the right tool to use. I could bash script things I need, but that isn't as flexible as I was hoping.

I looks like there is a rag-tag collection of things some of us are doing.. but not yet any serious commercial or otherwise push in the direction I was wondering about.

Yes. We are making our own admin panel with features we need.

Like granulated plans for users (being able to add space or cpu limits) or better backups options (custom cron to create more backups if user needs it).

Or we integrated bunny.net DNS.
