Have you tried out this new feature (well, it's not so new, but the ability to save workspaces is). It's quite a game changer for server admins I feel. Being able to run the same command on multiple servers in realtime is super handy. Being able to save a workspace (collection of servers) is brilliant as well. twest i know right! I've been using termius for years and i never used anything since then like i used to back then, good old putty, cmd, terminal, winscp.. im glad i invested in termius pro..

I think the "broadcast" feature was there for a while.. but having to recreate the workspace each time was a pain. Now, you can save them. We also have snippets that we use regularly too, but that has been there for a while.

Any other features you use I need to know about? 😉

xyzulu haha, probably not! I always stick to basics, KISS. I do like the server groupings feature though since we handle sysadmin work for other companies, makes it easy to sort groups of servers, which then makes batching updates easier too (which is the first thing I'm gonna test with this workspace feature). I haven't used the terminal sharing yet, but plan to on the next training session - it will be so much easier than the basic "screen share" I'd usually use.

I recently found automatically running snippets when opening host. I always run df/free first thing when opening a server out of habit, so it saves me a few seconds each time now 💪

Screensharing - there was a way we used to do this using tmux (still a really useful tool). I’m not used Termius for this myself.

Love Termius so far just for their syncing. Used to use Mobaxterm but its pain if you reinstall or need a new connection synced to your laptop. Oh and its pretty which matters a little to me. Just like I don't want to code in notepad, I don't want to use software that feels like its from the 90s. I CAN but don't want to.

Don't love the questionable Termius security history but from what I have seen the vaults are secure and if they get hacked its not going to expose certs or passwords. SSH should be locked down to specific IP address or behind a VPN anyway.

How does this compare to Warp if you had used it? We are using Warp and its amazing so far(mainly on Mac).

vsmbg I'm conflicted. I find myself switching between both. I like the overall aesthetic/UX of Warp much better... but Termius has the edge with additional functionality.

Warp also feels more like a 'dev/programmers' tool with their focus/direction on functionality. (it's also available on Windows now)

Looks really nice if you need to be in ssh all the time. I also looked today to multiple SSH cilents and went with xpipe myself for now.

I have used Termius for many years, but I have decided to stop using it. I want to limit 3rd party companies to access my infrastructure and data. As all data is stored on Termius servers. A phished employee would be a disaster 🙂 .

So for me Xpipe + config file are way to go.

webnestify xpipe i tried once i did like it but i think its better for those who have homelab kinda setups, on prem servers and infra, but again its my personal opinion, i like simple and powerful tools with things that reduce sysadmin work loads, xpipe has lil too many options, all that is needed for a sys admin is a good terminal with few tools in arsenal..

If you have it on your PC, and then install it on your phone, all your logins will automatically be there.
