More monitoring server tools [LOGGED]

I think it would be nice to have more tools to monitor the server.

Example:

cpu usage
disk io usage
memory usage
database usage
network usage
top Processes
statistics for sites

Of course statistics for a longer period of time with history e.g. up to a month with options to filter statistics to the last 5 minutes, 2 hours, etc.

Hi Adam,

We do already show CPU and memory on the server overview page. There are also statistics on the website overview page with a graph.

We have iowait as a metric it's just not exposed in the UI. We can add that.

We will look into adding the other metrics in time.

Adam We need info per user or website to quickly identify what website or who is causing the load. for example plesk has a process list which gives details per user and subscription.

Yes, there are, but it's very little detailed information. More details are needed.

I'd like to see more enhance and user specific metrics, but I'd err on the side of caution of investing too much time or control panel resources into server monitoring at this stage (proper monitoring of server and mysql before looking at individual customer containers is well over 300 items per 5 minute per app/db server). I'd suggest and be happy to collaborate more on enhance monitoring templates for third party softwares such as zabbix.

It would be amazing if we could see more graphs. I'd love to see a memory usage history graph.
Same for disk usage.
