It seems to be gone from my control panel settings now, is anyone else seeing it?

I also seem to be getting about 800k entries in my syslog daily, related to screenshot service. This is on a server with like 40 websites.

Any way to disable the screenshot service? And can anyone confirm they're getting similar crazy results?

twest I can confirm that it seems gone for everyone on v12, nothing sort of screenshot related in services settings...

Im hunting the rapid disk increase issue these days, ols being the top culprit generating so many logs and because ols config is non persistent we can't modify log rotation of ols ahh so frustrating!!, using script to clean those along with journalctl logs, such a mess... And now i read your screenshot situation and im now wondering if this should be also included in this issue ๐Ÿ™„

The setting has disappeared for me. It has nothing to do with the upgrade; I did a clean install.

Currently, screenshots are running every 30 seconds.

Its not only bothersome it can also be indexed by google, using your "staging" domain, something that should never have been allowed, you can disable it on the settings, upper right 3 dots "screenshots".

Disabling it doesn't Change the Image spot in the UI so not sure how horrible this will look for your clients, but enhance never cared for their quality of life till now ๐Ÿ˜ƒ

twest I see the ability to disable screenshots on my servers. On thenโ€3 dotโ€ menu up the top right.

Interval setting is not there. Maybe another regression that will be fixed in an future update?

Ah sweet, totally forgot that screenshot toggle was buried in there. Turned those off, will check syslog to confirm it's respecting that and not filling up a million lines of crap everyday lol

Well that didn't work. Turned off screenshots and yet syslog is STILL being filled up with screenshot checks on all sites every 30 seconds. @Adam this seems like a bug, is there another way to disable screenshots?

      twest

Just checked on two clusters, both are working fine, so it might be something specific to your setup. Probably best to let Adam take a look.

If you want to stop it temporarily, you can run:

      systemctl stop screenshotd.service
      systemctl disable screenshotd.service
      systemctl mask screenshotd.service

cPFence I'm just gonna disable it on 1 server and monitor how things go. I'm worried disabling it will cause a bug with some other service or function in Enhance lol
