I am trying to install Enhance for the first time but am running into an error. I have created a brand new VM in Google Cloud Platform running 24.04 LTS. The error I am getting says "E: Unable to locate package ecp-core"
Can you please let me know how I can fix this?
That means the Enhance repo is not setup. Are you using the bash command Enhance provide to you from my.enhance.com ?
ricochetrec Are you still having difficulties with this? We've seen this error before for people attempting to use ARM. ARM servers are not yet supported on Enhance.
xyzulu I am using the Enhance provided bash command. I have confirmed the repo has been added.
Aliysa_Enhance Nope I have Ubuntu 24.04 LTS installed on x86_64 and confirmed with uname.
Oops. Found the issue. I thought I had installed 24.04 but I accidentally selected 20.04 when setting up the VM.
Thanks for updating the thread, yeah, that’s a common one. Easy to miss when setting up a VM.
