A little doubt about billing

I recently was reviewing automation on my billing system and it got me thinking on how many days from due date I should suspend and then how many days from that I should cancel the service completely.

I was wondering, Does suspended and soft deleted sites count against Enhance's monthly license calculation?

If they do, I need to tighten my termination dates.

Regarding your question, I would say 1 site counts even if suspended or soft-deleted.

Adrien I'm using Upmind and WHMCS interchangeably.

About this, I can say that that Upmind has a better Enhance integration than WHMCS, but both work fine in the basics.

I used Blesta for a while and it works fine but its Enhance integration is third party and I would like it to be in the core just to assure continued support, so I won't be using it in the meantime.

Other solutions I don't know. I don't dare to try HostBill due to the price tag.

I should definitely rethink how much time to give customers between suspension and cancelation.

mendozal Do you host in one single geolocation? If you have two or more, how did you manage in Upmind to connect a plan and offer clients provisioning location options?
Example:

Plan Upmind

Dallas
London

After the client chose the data center, Upmind will provision the Enhance package for the server in that particular location.

You are right on this. The WHMCS module is the only module which was written by us - the others (Hostbill, Upmind, Blesta, etc) were written by 3rd parties.

We have asked WHMCS to take over development of it, since they are obviously a lot more familiar with PHP and their own software than we will ever be. We don't have any PHP developers on the team.

If you are WHMCS customers feel free to request the same, it might help!

Adam I hope they take it over, so it would be part of the core.

Having said that, the WHMCS module works fine really. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles but it gets the job done on client's accounts (creatin, termination, suspension, and so on)
