When trying to export a database dump from phpmyadmin, I get this error message:

TypeError: PhpMyAdmin\Export::getFilenameAndMimetype(): Argument #5 ($filenameTemplate) must be of type string, null given, called in /var/www/[site-id]/public_html/libraries/classes/Controllers/Export/ExportController.php on line 398

Any hints?

Yeah, I saw that post too, but this is a standard Prestashop with about 350 tables.
I exported it from a phpmyadmin in a different server and imported here in enhance. I did some changes and tried to export a backup again :/

Definitely it has something to do with the number of tables because I can export half of them and then the second half, but not all the tables at the same time.

2 years later

I have this same issue, just tried today. I just get "TypeError" and nothing else.

DB has 250 tables.

xyzulu have not tried via cli, I ended up doing download from the databases tab and then zipping folder to download. (already discovered you can't download backups)

CloudyBlake I wouldn’t devote too much stress to phpmyadmin exports. It’s almost the worst way to do a db dump anyway. As you discovered the Enhance control panel database export is even easier. CLI will work for sure.

        xyzulu phpmyadmin

It COULD be a good tool and there are web based database management tools that ARE good. Not sure why phpmyadmin is still popular.

I guess its just all the tutorials for people who shouldn't be in the database in the first place. Things like changing site url, reseting admin password in wordpress. Every tutorial is always the same, not really teaching any concepts just copy and paste and click here and it will work, so its useless without phpmyadmin.

I bet If a hosting provider offers a good alternative, people will complain because they cant get their 2 braincells to figure out the different interface.

JohnB It just hangs around…. Let me think, late 90’s? And the interface… smh… some tools never go into a nice well-deserved retirement…
